Daily Progress Post......March 31!!!

Today I made my plan and made sure everything was organized for the presentation of my project. I also did my status report.

Plan

First me and Hannah made the torture chair. We found an old chair and put card board over it to make it look better. We looked off a picture which is my notecard #30. After we assembled the chair we stuck nails into it to make the spikes. After we put the nails in, we spray painted it to make it have the bronze color like in the picture.

Second we made the guillotine. We found wood and cut out the shapes to make the guillotine look like in the picture we looked off of. Which was index card #28. After we cut out all the wood we basically assembled it together with nails and screws.

Status Report

1. What have I accomplished on my project so far?
-I've made all the models with Hannah and we both finished our research.
2. What do I still have left to do?
- We still have to get everything organized and make our plan.
3. What has been harder than I thought it would be?
- The research and finding more websites for everything.
4. What has been easier than I thought it would be?
-Making the index cards and the models. Neither one was too difficult.
5. How would I do my project differently if I could start over again?
-I wouldn't wait to the last minute on some things and I would also maybe not make models but mybe make a movie or something.
6. What do I need to get accomplished before Spring Break?
-All the index cards to be done and have a plan to make the models.

Today Hannah and I made and finshed the guillotine and finished spray painting the torture chair. Next time we will make the thumbscrew and figure out how we will do our presentation....

Today Hannah and I went to Lowe's and got supplies for making the torture chair...We figured out how we will make the torture chair, the guillotine and tumbscrew..... I will start making the procedure for making the torture devises during class tom....

Today I talked with Hannah on how we are going to make the models for the project....next class we are going to have a better idea on how we are going to make them and we will get the materials that we will need....

Today I made my last index card!!!! yea!!! I found more websites and pictures for the index cards.....Next class Hannah and I will go over our information and figure out how to make the models for the project...

Daily Progress Post.......March 9!!

Today I worked more on my project and I made more index cards. I will finish off my notecards tomorrow and next class I will put my information together. Also next class Hannah and I will put some of our information together and try to figure out how we are going to make the models.
