Today I made a total of 18 index cards, by finding pictures of my topic...........next class I will make more index cards and find more websites for my project, and tag them in delicious to further my project.......

Summary: The thumbscrew (or can also be called pilliwinks) slowly crushes the fingers when placed on the vise. This can also be used on the toes and larger devices for the knees and elbows. This torture was extremely slow and painful.

Today I did another note card and read about the tumbscrew torture....Next time I'll continue with doing notecards and website searching.

Summary: This form of torture was mainly ment to extract confessions out of someone. It was painful and long lasting. The thumbscrew was also used on toes. Their was many other devises to cruch body parts such as the head crusher, and the arm. If this didn't work to get the confessio from the victim, the torturer would choose another torture devise.

Their death varied from a hour to a day or more. This is all based on their psychological fear. the more fear the person had, the more quickly they died. Some other versions of the torture chair was that their was a hole on the seat, so that coals would go in.

The Product Prospectus
1. The research question: How is the guillotine, the chair of torture, and the thumbscrew compare to each other?
2. Description: Models depicting what the devices looked like and how they worked.
3. Justification: It shows how torture devices are diffreent from then and now, and how they are used.
4. Definition of a finished product: A finsh product consists of detailed information and models depicting the selected torture devices.
5. How finished product justification demostrating mastery: It shows the differences of the torture devices and how they were similas and different.
6. Breakdown/task:
a. Research
b. Put material together
c. Get items to make the models and make models.
d. Make sure everything is done, and maybe add something to make the project even more awesome.
