The Product Prospectus

1. The research question: How is the guillotine, the chair of torture, and the thumbscrew compare to each other?

2. Description: Models depicting what the devices looked like and how they worked.

3. Justification: It shows how torture devices are diffreent from then and now, and how they are used.

4. Definition of a finished product: A finsh product consists of detailed information and models depicting the selected torture devices.

5. How finished product justification demostrating mastery: It shows the differences of the torture devices and how they were similas and different.

6. Breakdown/task:
a. Research
b. Put material together
c. Get items to make the models and make models.
d. Make sure everything is done, and maybe add something to make the project even more awesome.

7. Next action to be taken on project: Get the more information on the research.

  1. Sarah -- This is an excellent start! There are a couple things I'd like you and Hannah to think about:

    First, what do y'all mean by compare? I worry that it will just be a simple "This is this, that is that, and this other thing is, well, this other thing." Try to push a little deeper than that -- maybe discuss motivations, too? The guillotine was used for very different purposes than the thumbscrew, for example -- which probably leads to some of the differences in their design, right? Maybe a discussion of the how the purposes of the devices led to differences in their uses and construction might be a useful path to investigate...

    Second, you need to flex out #6 before we can check this off the list. Small potatoes, though.
